need a good reservoir
I have a 1/2" setup which is mostly inline, except for a small 2 pint reservoir that facilitates easy refilling and air removal. However, it leaks slowly because the lid is not 100% airtight when under pressure. This is because it's made from tupperware (yeah, yeah, laugh. i was in a hurry :) with 1/2" barbs melted into the plastic and the joint covered with silicon sealant. I thought it was waterproof.. but the weak point is the tupperware lid.
Anyway, I'm in the market for a good, small reservoir with 1/2" fittings that can be opened (not while the pump is on, of course) to remove air or fill the system easily. It needs to be airtight when closed, though. The only ones I've been able to find were reservoir/pump combos, but I don't need a new pump. I don't have the skills to create something from scratch (I'm an electronics guy, not a metalworker). Does anybody know where I can get such a thing? Thanks! Adam M. |
not important, but...
I made a typo. It's a 1-pint reservoir, not two.

sweet
Thanks for that information. :) Given that the DD one is sold out (and a tiny bit expensive), I'm still looking. I'll try googling for some other sites that carry the DD reservoir, though. It looks good.
Thanks again, Adam M. |
