Position of a Via Aqua 1300

I am building my first water cooler rig. I will be running an Via Aqua 1300 pump, BIX rad, DD Maze 3, DD Chipset, and an airplane gas tank as a res.

Is it OK to have the intake pointing straight up. The flow I am thinking of using is as follows:

Res --\ Maze 3
| \ | |
| \ | |
| Chip |
| |
Pump -----------Rad

That will be from Res to Pump to Rad to Maze 3 to Chipset to Res. To make this work, I will need to position the pump intake up.

Any problems with this setup. Oh, the case is Lian Li PC 12 (same size as a PC 60)

Thanks

Given that your H2O circuit is primed, the position of the pump would be irrelevant.

It'll keep your pump primed, or at least make it very easy to prime, so it's good.

The orientation doesn't matter. Only the cheapest POC pump have a problem because the bearing/seal wear out, but that's VERY unusual, and is just a design flaw.
