New Geforce4 block from DD
looks like they have addressed the flow problems by using 45 deg. barbs...but u may run into some ramsink problems
what do u guys think of it wouldnt u know they would come out with this right after i bought my geforce3 block:D http://www.dangerden.com/images/GF4/gf4.htm |
yeah, i just saw that today lol. if its used w/ a GF3, then there might be issues (they say it doesnt work with the Asus cards unless you mod the RAMsinks). but otherwise, the tweakmonster BGA RAMsinks should be fine. just be careful taking the stock sinks off; several ppl have ripped their RAM chips off with the RAMsinks lol
|
notice how the outlet is in the middle of the ram modules, not over any of them. most heatsinks would be missed with that setup,
|
yeah i saw that...but its gona be close on some cards i dont think it would clear on my gainward and its got some short heat sinks on it..at lest with 3/4 od tubing

A week and a half after I get my DD GeForce cooler....
EDIT: heh, guess I should note the GeForce4 part... and that it's not for a GeForce3.. which is what I assumed, whoops   |
it'll work on GF3 also, you gotta read more carefully lol.
"A week and a half after I get my DD GeForce cooler..." yeah, thats what happened when i ordered my Maze 2, a week later and the M3 is for sale lol. |
When will it be available?
