A reservoir as the highest point of a system
 

A reservoir should be the highest point of a system. Fine! The inlet of the reservoir should be higher than its outlet. Fine again!
I placed the reservoir and BIX outside of my case, on its top (under my table). There is not enough room, so only the inlet of the reservoir is higher than the inlet (and outlet) of the BIX. But the outlet of the reservoir sits lower than the inlet and outlet of the BIX. Is this place of the reservoir really "the highest point of the system?"

What's confusing? I have a chain "pump-reservoir-WB-BIX-pump". The reservoir and BIX sit on the top of my case (outside). BIX stands for horisontal airflow. A reservoir stands a bit higher the BIX, so less higher that only the inlet of the reservoir is higher than the inlet and outlet of the BIX. The outlet of the reservoir is lower than the inlet of BIX. Is the reservoir "the highest point of the system" or not?

You are fine.

Principle: the highest point of the airtrap should be the system high point.

Reason: this helps air migrate THERE instead of elsewhere where it hurts system performance.

yeah you should be fine but the way you descirbed it is slightly confuzing... had to read over that one part a few times before i completly understood. anyways since your using a resivour you dont absolutly have to have it at the top of hte system... hell i have my air trap at the bottom with my pump and it runs fine...

As said before, having an air trap at the top has 2 purposes:

1-it helps to allow the air to accumulate in it, when the pump stops (if you are running continous, you'll still have power failures).

2-If your res is not sealed, AND if you develop a leak somewhere, your res won't leak all of the fluid into your case.
