is there anyone here that doesnt live in canada or another cold place...?
just wonder... lol
|
Im basicly the opposite, South Carolina. Not only is it 90 degrees, but 70% humidity. You pretty much cant go outside without sweating.
|
me :)
|
is Florida a cold place?
|
People usually talk about Sweden as a cold place... But it's been around 25-35c (77-96F) at around 50%-60% humidity for far too long into august now... It's a pest.

dunno if u guys know belgium, its not too cold but it besically rains al000t here. i think we've had 10 days of good weather in total this summer. hate the mosquitos that come with the summer tho
|
I'm in Alaska. It's not cold.
yet. we just dropped to the low 50's. Our week of fall is coming up though. Then it'll start to get cold. |
I live in Pennsylvania it has been like no lower than 80 for the past 2 1/2 months of my summer vacation. Spent that entire time working outdoors :|. The past 3 days have been pretty cool around upper 60s I guess. Yesterday was downright chilly I put the windows up on the Blazer when I was doing 75 down route 309. I need to get some really cold weather and get used to it. Fall sucks cause it is my transition into winter and I am still feeling the warmth so I am always cold. By the end of fall I will be able to stand in 0 degree weather(farenheit) in a TShirt and jeans perfectly fine :). And my mind is always in a snowplaces, explaining my location.

In WI, its hot as **** in the summer, and cold as **** in the winter... atleast Spring and Fall rock! :)

I'm in the same boat as Joe, Madison and Toronto are pretty close to the same lattitude. It's been high 85-90 all summer. Winter on the other hand... 32 is great weather. We have 4 seasons here... Almost winter, winter, still winter, and construction. |
We've only got 2 seasons: hot, and hotter than hell!
|
well here in Toronto (that's in Canada :p) it's been really hot
we had 3 or 4 days of cloudyness/rain last month and the temp were in near 40*C and with a humidex it was 50*C (sorry i have no clue what that is in yanks terms :D) thank god it's been cooler this month, low 30s everyday  so it's not cold in Canada:p |
I grew up in Louisiana; Baton Rouge (college) definitely not cold.
Now I live in Saskatchewan; -35 to -40C in winters Cars dont start without block heaters. I am putting a big res outside and watercooling with that once it gets cold. :) |
_
_ _ _ _ <---- look always around 25ºC (78ºF) at noon, winter or summer, a few of winter nights below freezing. It's really dry, these late years have been "rainy": about 4 days raining in a year; i recall several years passing by without raining. |

Welcome to the coldest winters you'll ever live through. 100 degree boots will make sense to you soon... Forget looking fashionable! |
You have lived in Toronto, right?
We are heading in opposite directions. I guess we will meet on the backide at the equator :) |
I lived in Montreal. I've been in Texas for 2 years now.
We'll meet somewhere in Arkansas, by my calculations! |
No way! Arkansas is NEVER a final destination.
I was thinking I would cross over at the north pole, and you can cross over the south pole and we could meet somewhere on the opposite side of the globe. If you get a chance, pick up a few things in Columbia :) |
Ok then we'll meet somewhere around 33 degrees South, 87 degrees East, but I think that's in the water...
|
So much the better. International waters it is then.
Yaaargh Ahoy! Shiver me timbers! etc etc |
hehe I was planning on -20 boots this year :). All for the love of the snow, and doing 100 MPH on roads with 15 MPH speed limits. Its funny cause cops ride slow snowmobiles :).

i'm living in Ottawa now, and i've lived an hour outside it my whole life until now. It got pretty hot this summer, and it gets friggin cold most winters... then again i remember a green christmas. i got an RC truck and went outside and drove it around the lawn.
there isn't some invisible weather border between us and you americans where suddently everything is covered in snow 365 days a year :D northern parts of the states have about the same weather as most of us canadians i would imagine. troy. |
I'm with you on our seasons Bigben. I can't remember a winter. I've lived here all my life and its only snowed twice that I can remember. Melted in mid air or once it hit the ground.
