Online Vendors?
I've been trying to find vendors for the better AL & CU alloys in bar stock.
Aluminum in 1199-H18 (240 W/m-K) or 1199-O (243 W/m-K) and Copper in the Oxygen-free high conductivity types, C102 ,etc... 391-392 W/m-K Searching now, but if anyone already knows any, it would help :) |

Nope, those places carry the poorer grades. :(

look for an electrical contracting company close to you, they usually have what's called "bus-bar" in all shapes and thicknesses.... i'm not 100% on it, but I think that is the good stuff, better than what can be had through a metals shop...

Cu: 99.9%, O: 0.04%. This is a bad thing? I'm going to be building my own block soon and didn't even think of this.

Did a google search on copper bus bar, found a few places but theyr'e both "call for info"
I'll try to find local vendor next week. Frag, that copper looks to be good(without a chart at hand..). The C11000 stuff & similar is the one I'm looking for. All are the high conductivity/ oxy free types. |

He, he #Rotor, you buy copper by meter :D
Here in Slovenia there is a company where I can get Cu/Al precutted to whatever I want from standard bars which are in almost all dimensions, and the place is only 6km away so I'm pretty regular there :D |
