Here my liquid project.

And here some photographs of the support in plexi. The two exchangers will be completely insulated. I do not have yet results for the moment...

Looks nice! Remember to insulate!

Nice chiller, I just don't see how could that radiator cool water from how many TEC's ,six ?

Jonas 09-17-2001 05:15 PM

good luck. this has been done, and with poor results...just don't get your hopes up too much bro. very nice implentation of it, definitely pro looking. is this for an intel or an amd system?

Joe 09-17-2001 05:30 PM

Thats looking pretty cool!

Sanjuro 09-17-2001 08:08 PM

I like your plexi support :)
Yeah, like what Joans said, the chill is not gonna work (that well anyways, maybe a degree or two). I think someone over at overclockers.com has done it and it proved to be a waste of time. Everything else looks nice though, now all you need is a handle to give it that OEM look!

Kevin 09-17-2001 08:12 PM

When I did it, I got poor results. If you set the chiller up to re-circulate the water as done at www.overclock-watercool.com you should get better results. Also, you MUST insulate. It should work okay then.

Thanks :D

The single goal of this assembly is to obtain very low temperatures.
I know that the installation of such a system is not profitable.
Yes, I intend to isolate the pipes as well as the exchangers.
I intend to do that tomorrow afternoon.

Here the link for other photographs: http://www.overclex.net/content.php3...php3%3Fid%3D25

Still thank you!

After looking at the pics more closely, I see that you have A LOT more surface area and A LOT more power than I did. If you insulate it, you should get good results.

Thank you, I give you the résulats when I made the tests. :D

Thats a pro looking chiller :). Good insulation and a bigger radiator will surely give you some cool results. That radiator (is it a senfu?) will have hell dealing with all that heat.

CornerJack 11-04-2001 11:16 AM

I finish the insulation of the processor, of the pipes as well as two aluminium exchangers :D

now if only u could get the 5 peltiage action ON the CPU that would be cool :->

just wonderin, where did u get the thermistor used here http://www.overclex.net/watercooling...ges/photo9.jpg
what r u usin 2 display the temps frem the probe
Thanks!

mfpmax 11-04-2001 06:09 PM

Reminds me of the old Frosty Fox setup. That site was back up awhile ago btw.

pHaestus 11-04-2001 07:34 PM

techguy: there is an article on ocmod about making those inline thermistors, and you can buy them at www.dtekcustoms.com and probably other online stores as well.

Techguy 11-04-2001 10:26 PM

I made my in lines the DIY way, (the dual compu nurses in T joints sealed with RTV), but one probe started registering ~ 30 C above the other one 4 no apparent reason... odd...
I was tryin 2 see what he used 4 the display cuz I don't have a DigiDoc.
and maybe he used a thermistor different from the compunurse ones...

Techguy 11-04-2001 10:32 PM

well, I checked out the sites, and I did basically what they have done. I need a display that does not use the MoBo 1) my MoBo has none 2) this is 4 a project that is not on a PC so no MoBo anywhere near it.
