Water Chiller / Acrylic Case Project.
Alright mates. Heres the deal. I got my dehumidifier back from the guy who is supposed to help me do it. He just turned out too busy and he was behind on orders (http://www.richmandesign.com is who i am talkin about). Anywho, I just bought 18x27 in 3/4" thickness acrylic for the base of the dehumidifier. What i thought of doing is having two layers. First story should have the dehumidifier/water chiller. And on the second story will have the computer. I wont put the monitor on it which would be pretty cool making a computer all in one thing. But its too heavy. What do u guys think? right now i just have an idea of having a yycube design for the second story (computer). I will make it so that the computer can be removable from the top of the dehumidifier (for lan purposes). I will have a regular water cooling setup in it. I am going to have valves and switches to control which system to use. The waterchiller or the regular watercooling. I got quick disconnects from home depot that actually fit for garden hoses. U can see them on the picture below.
Ideas? Suggestions? I'll be back soon enough with an illustration. http://imagesite.ihelix.net:85/sonix/ghetto%20QDs.jpg |
