What type of peltier?
Ok......... i got this elcheapo pelt from a friend- its one like at frys for a celeron or socket 7- anyone know how to tell the watts? It will freeze a stock intel p4 cooler to where waters drippin off....

A pelt is actually a TEC (Thermo-Electric Couple), a device that, when current is applied to it, transports heat from one side to the other. It is called the Peltier effect, hence the name. It's near impossible to tell what you have there, Spyder. Got a pic? How much did you pay for it? Was it new or used, or ripped from an assembly? What size is it? Does it have any markings? How fast did it cool your chip? Was your proc on when you tested this pelt? |
