FS: Black Infrared Sensitive Plexiglas Sheets

Hey guys, i just found the best plexiglas sheet EVER! Its mirror-like black but when held up to an infrared source (sunlight or incandescent light maybe more source but those r the ones I tested it with.), shows red. Its awesome. I wish I could take pictures but my camera sux0rz. I got one piece today 16x16. Unfortunately it doesnt fit my case window (shoulda took measurements). But anyways I wanna sell this one and I will get more for myself. I can probably get you people more if you want. Again it shows red in infrared light and black under regular light. I can get you people more sheets custom sized but I can really want to sell this sheet first. Asking for $20 shipped.

ok. I got good and bad news. What do u want me to start with? What? The bad news? Ok the good news is that I am uploading the pictures right now. The bad news is pictures came out HORRIBLE. my crappy camera wasnt able to pick up the bent infrared rays. So it picks it up as black and white instead of red (or I am weird). Also it should be much darker and u can see only the red rays of infrared through. Behold! http://imagesite.ihelix.net:85/sonix/infrared_acrylic/

Enjoy.

The link above (geocities) is'nt working. the pics that come out black/whiteish, when you look yourself your eye sees it as red then?. do colors show through it?, or is it all shades of red?. I'd like to know if it works with florescent dye in the H20 and a UltraViolet light.

Is a 'black light' the same as UV?, or is it a different animal altogether?...

http://www.geocities.com/sonixos/Pictures.zip try again.
yes i do see red as u see red in the pictures above. NO colors show up only RED. Its like looking at a black and white TV except this is Black and Red. UV light is at the other end of the spectrum. You will see NOTHING through UV light aka Black Light. The purpose of this sheet is to block UV light and allow IR light. look at the pics they explain better than i do.
