Best fans for case cooling ?
i need some opinions on which case fans are the best to use ..
im gonna have a baybus .. so i can run them at 12 or 7 volt .. thanks |
Im a big panaflo fan *grin*
Seriously though, panaflos are great, and produce the most cfm for the noise level. Cant go wrong with them. Next in line would be the YS Tecks and Sunons |
well i just found about 8 or so high flo panaflos .. 80mm
so im gonna run them .. 39.6 cfm can i run them at 7 volt ?? cuz i know some 80mm i tried running at 7 volt just stopped |
172mm Comair Rotron. 12v 235cfm, 55dba. Run it at 7v and u still get a nice breeze and very low pitched noise. I personally did the trick with the ground attached to 5volt line. Much easier and faster to do. Not permanent (i did over a connection between the fan and the psu). And doesnt generate heat.

I quite like the thermal take case fan II's. You can offset their speed by using the little resistor, and still keep them variable by using the temp sensor. You have a *massive* cfm and noise range as well.
for pure quality papst > panaflo > sanyo denki > nidec > delta |
I like my Panaflos.
got a M1A(model above the popular L1A). |
