D-Tek Sirp@l

Ok after haveing about 2 years into the Spir@l block, I just today received a retail version of the spir@l like on the website. Even I have to say, that I am very very impressed with the machining done by the shop in cali. Everything is a perfect fit.

Seing the retail version of something that I homed growned is a wonderfull feeling.

To all that have one of these things, I hope you can apprecate the work that went into them. Trial and error have landed us where the block is today. Many suggestions from geeks lime you and me have all been heard and some incorperated.

I just wanted to say thanks for the support.

I am truley amazed that it is finally in my hands. The finished product.

Thanks guys.

Robert

Sirp@l?:D

I have modified one to fit the P4 and changed the barbs to 5/8" OD. Not sure if it is a newer one or not. How can I tell?

Are the sides of the channels ribbed/grooved? If they ARE, it is new, if not it is older.

Thanks for the reply nikhsub1, they are finely grooved so I guess it's a newbie:D

Nice, but it's not the one that Fixittt made originally ?

gmat 10-24-2002 04:11 PM

Indeed. It's smaller and has 8mm barbs. Same design though.
If you want one from DTek shipping charges will be between $30 and $40 so make sure you order a lot of HW at once :p

Crazymofo 10-24-2002 05:33 PM

So if I order one from the d-tek site I'm gonna get the new version right?

edit I looked, funny thing how that works :D I just hope a eheim 1048 will keep enough flow through it!

Gone_Fishing.

I got all the letters!!! Thats all that matters! LOL

I can tell you this, The anadized black top with chrome hose barbs look even better in person then in the pictures.

I cant say this enought, there is some Very nice workmanship that went into the making of these blocks.

Khledar 11-04-2002 02:38 AM

I'd like a little 'very nice workmanship' for my p4. If only 'near future' became 'currently' I would become quite happy :D

Great work keeping the dream alive Fixittt!
