anyone ever tried molding a Res?

aorking on my WC rig, I dont like the looks of the Res. I am trying a different approach ( plexiglass heat strip bending) but I was wondering if anyone has tried to make a Res by pouring one injection mold of some type or casting type mold?
If anyone has tried this could you possibly inform me as to where one might purchase the raw materials for the plexglass. been web surfing all night looking for raw materials and comming up with nothing unless you want to buy a 55 gallon drum of the stuff.
Thanks
Aardil
