New case problem , need help w/radiator
 

Hey what's up guys.. I just got a new case.. the chieftec matrix , it's pretty sweet i'll have photos soon.. It's insides are just like all the soho dragon server cases. It has the purple plastic fan clips and such that secure the 80mm case fans.. What i'm having trouble with is mounting my black_ice micro radiator onto one of these contraptions.. Currently Zip ties are holding it in place. The clips that clip onto the fan don't secure because the fan sits against the radiator and the clips can't get in between the 2.. Anyone found a way around this??? --bikr

try putting washers between the fan & rad to space them apart, then use ductape (or be creative) to seal the gap. the extra space between the radiator & fan will improve the performace too;)
