How much tubing for a regular setup>?
 

Hey i am about to purchase the tubing for my setup but i would like to have an approximation of how much tubing you guys regularly use for a setup so i dont over or under buy thanks!

if i buy 3mtrs then i have about 0.5 left.

i have 2 rads; 1 block

if u have 3 blox and 1 rad u might even need more than 3m

Well!..., you'll always need more than you need so get a load :evilaugh: ...

Get some string and sus it out, block to pump, to rad, to block, ect. add it all up and double it :) (or add another metre at least!)...

You need 8 ft for the average setup. Set your bogey at three watercooled computers. If you have done three, and the system is self-contained, buy eight feet. For every system less than three that you have installed, add two feet of tubing to account for inevitable mistakes. For example, if you've installed two systems, buy 10 ft, and if you've never done it before, buy 14. The more experienced you are, the less you'll f*ck up, and don't think that you won't, cos it happens to the best of us. It is easier to deal with having spare tubing than not having enough and having to re-order and get raped in shipping costs.

i say 3mtrs (9ft) if u have alot of blox or rads. in that u can substract 1.5mtrs, but because so much is messed up, better to have some reserve.

therefore, here's my little trick. first get yourself some cheapass pvc tubing. connect everything: and then get to the more expensive stuff, using the lengths u have from trial and error pvc. it would surely break my heart to start mucking up with tygon tubing or something.

With Clearflex 60 in Pro/Deals at $0.75 a foot, why bother with the cheapo vinyl at all? Order a ton of clearflex and if there are any screw-ups, you aren't paying much more than PVC (about $0.10 more per foot), but if you DON'T screw up, you have a reserve of the good stuff. Food for thought.
