'Return to Forum' option after posting?...
 

Joe, (or mods maybe?)

Is it possible to add a 'return to forum' option after you post a message?, instead of just a 'return to thread' option?, and maybe a 'return to main index' option as well?. I've seen these options on quite a few sites and they are very useful ;) . I don't know about you but I very seldom stay in the thread after I've posted unless it's active with other users at the time, more often I return to the 'parent' forum rather than the thread (95 times out of 100)...

mods to code like that suck to do, cause in updates you loose all them and have to re do them.

in vBB there is no native way to do that.

I'd like to see it. WIth the preview option, there really is no reason to go back to the thread you just posted in. I;d rather just go back to the forum to continue on with the posts.

On the other hand, I can see it might be problematic if VBB doesn't support it.

Also... vBB 3 is on the horizon. I am currently not modifying anymore code on the forums till we make the jump to vBB3 due to all the changes it has. Many hacks and features many want in vBB 2x are in 3 :)
