Anyway, here's when I wish there was strikethrough vBCode:
When going back to edit a post (for corrections) but still wanting display what was originally written for the sake of completeness and as a 'historic record'

... and then of course there's the 'why not' argument... It adds functionality, and reportedly its not difficult to do (according to posts on vBulletin forums). Surely most people will never use it... but for those who make far too many errors and edit their post far too many times, perhaps they, like myself would appreciate the feature.

Well there you go... whichever... although in hindsight this perhaps should have been a PM.

Well heres the deal. Moding the code is simple Yep.

But that version locks the website, since ANY update we need to go and re-do the mods in any affected file. Royal PITA.

Also vBB v3 is coming out rather soon, and I am basicly not going to mess with the site that much right now simply to keep the site compatible with the upgrade to V3.

strikethrough is not a major piece of function...

Otherwise we would be in pure chaos without it.

Keep in mind, one could argue against underlining too since it is too easily confused with linked text, and I'm sure we could go on without it just fine.

I always wondered what that was, strikethrough eh?, I'd like to see it later if possible, my sarcastic skills have often been sorely reduced because of the lack of 'strikethrough'...
