Condensation?
 

I was wondering if condensation would be a problem without the use of a peltier with just running cold water through the block, the water would range from 15-75 degrees F, if you think it would, how much moisture-proofing would you do to prevent any problems?

If your liquid-cooling system, waterblock, tubing etc is at room temperature or above, then condensation is unlikely... :D

If you are using some sort of chiller, and the coolant is significantly below room temperature, then you may see condensation, especially if the ambient air is humid with a high dewpoint. :confused: :confused:

15->75F is quite a wide range, and well below FREEZING on the low end? Better avoid running coolant much below room temperature or you will be dripping...

Storage, pump and radiator(s) are outside and in the wintertime, it will be around zero out there :), so basically, treat it like running a peltier then......... hmmmmm

Sounds like the "Igloo method" of water-cooling then? :D

Yeah, sort of, but I recover the heat and put it under my floor(in crawlspace), so basically, free in-floor heating :)

I've been using the below chart and so far it has been spot on to when I've had condensation start to form. Like Gator says it is a combination of ambient & humidity. Humidity really makes a big difference if it is in the 75% plus regions and as you can see it is possible to get condensation at less than 1°C below ambient, it's a real pain in the ass this moisture in the air thing :(
