Anyone ever WC'd one of these before? I have the HD rack taken out from the bottom. Thanks.

You should have no probs with the HDD tray out of bottom. Put the pump there. As far as radiators go I would look at the Black Ice. Add a 120mm blowhole on the top, mount a Black Ice to that, and you're basically done. I would guess you could even leave the HDD cage down below if you picked up a small submersible pump and res like the aluminum one from DTek Una is using in the nanocube. Maybe fit it in the 3.5" cage or in the bottom 5.25....

I have been planning to WC my PC-68 (same as the 60 but different bezzle) but I want to do mine all internal, everything can fit except that I can't find a rad to fit infront of the cage behind the front fans (4.5x7x.75 to 5x7.5x1 inch rad needed) If anyone knows one the size tell me. If you're using an external rad you won't have any probs fitting it in.

Possibly the 4" x 8-1/2" Low Pressure Drop Cooler at Dangerden would work if you modded it a bit with 90 degree outlets. If not I would think it certainly would fit on the rear (the PC60 rem. tray will hold 2 x 80mm).

wouldn't a blackice fit in there? kinda expensive though.

OOOh. How did I miss that, just cut off the screw flaps and it's perfect, I might get 2 now one at the intake and another at the exhaust with an extra fan.

I just setup a new rig in a PC-60, I did have to remove the HDD tray out of bottom.

Wow..is that an Eheim pump in there? If so, can you tell us the thread sizes for the inlet and outlet?

Yes it is. It's a Eheim 1048. The inlet thread size is 3/8" and outlet thread size is 1/4"

wow! That looks very professional. Nicely done. Of course it's a lot easier to fit a rad without the HDD cage but isn't that one of the Lian Li's nicest features?

Very nice looking set up there. I bet it's tough to get to the PCIs though... Looks great! One question though... what's the wire that runs out the back of the case in the second pic? not the pump... but the one covered in blue tubing?

Kevin: Looks like an inverter for a CCFT that is ALMOST hidden in the pics. Also he prolly has no prob with the PCIs since the tray slides out. :)

I must say that is one fine looking specimin there. Outstanding job with the plumbing and professionalism of the rig. I really like the looks of the Ehiem with the grey plastic impellerhousing cover removed.

That blue thing in the back is a wire going to my Ultraviolet Cold Cathode light.It was just the right size to fit in between the 2 80mm Panaflo and the side of the case.

As for the powercord from the pump, I'm going to make a plug in the back of the case so I can close the side.

I know from the pic it don't look like I have much room to get to the PCI slots, but I am able to remove and put back the cards without moving the pump or sliding out the tray.

All fans in the case are Panaflo fans
(2)80mm blowing out in the back
(2)80mm pulling air in and feeding the rad.
(1)120mm pulling from the rad and moving air around the case.

I still have some more work to do on it and I'm waiting for my DDMaze2 to come in. So will see if that help me some more with temps.

looks like you're getting some nice temps already :cool: But a MAZE2 will probably help out for a few more C. Just remember to tighten those screws all the way compressed, and try to find some metal bolts to replace the nylon ones if you can.

My Temps have come up abit due to me having to turn off the (HLT command) I had it turned on with WPCRSET but I was having too many lockups with it :mad:

But I can live with a idle temp in the low 30's and the load temp never goes above 38c

One of these day I will try it with a peltier to see how it goes.

i think he still might have problems getting access to the pci cards even if his try slides out because his cpu is connected to the water tubes. The length of his water tubes doesn't look like it gives much slack for mobo movement

I know from the pic it don't look like I have much room to get to the PCI slots, but I am able to remove and put back the cards without moving the pump or sliding out the tray. And if I need to move the pump for some reason, I can do so (Velcro is a wonderful thing :D)

You make it sound like I'll be pulling my cards out of this rig all the time.

Wow, that's a great WC Lian Li. I forgot to mention that I already do have a 120mm blowhole up top. Would it be better to get a larger radiator, like a black ice and mount it up there vs. putting the radiator down low where it is more cramped. I'm not quite sure of the space differences, so perhaps maybe putting it down low allows for more spacee?
