is this just me?

is it just me, or is the board really slow lately?

i'll admit it, i took about 3 weeks off. just curious. maybe i'm not paying attention enough :)

I think its u. Statistics show that the forum has had a steady stream of posts and new threads for the last month or so.

I happen to agree with Iroc409.

It use to take me over an hour to check all the theads...now it takes me 15-20 minutes.

I just havent seen that many posts recently.

Oh well :)

whats funny is there are more people reading the forums than ever :)

the fact remains that almost every topic has been sometimes almost beaten to death. what means that everything can almost be found with the search button. treasure of knowledge hidden in these boards...

I've been linking to my block thread, at OC and OCAU, and a couple more. It's now got almost 14'000 reads!!!

Maybe there's just not much going on, with everyone recovering from the holidays and all... There's a few noobs, but there used to be a lot more, more than 2 months ago.

Personally, it being January, and just coming off Fiscal year end I haven't had much time. Not that I post much anyhow. It's all I can do to read the new stuff most of the time. Heh, I say this as I post this from work.:D

jtroutma 01-10-2003 06:37 PM

Some how, I have a feeling that the majority of us are reading these threads at work :)

Also it just occured to me..... since it is just after the holidays, we all dont have any money!!! :D

PC enthusiast sites in general seem slow. Looks like more content than normal on Procooling last couple weeks to me though (not saying a huge amount).

#rotor has his hammer blocks ready; I guess that will be the next "big thing" when it is released (Hammer).

December and January normally suck for tech sites.

iroc409 01-11-2003 09:09 PM

hrm. oh well, i'll still be around on here, this site kicks ass.

i have been working on a project, but definitely low on funds. from what i can find so far, it is a rather new approach to water cooling. not sure how well it will work though. guess i'll beat on the trail to more ca$h so i can work on my project :):)

Just noticed...

"People/noobs asking for help/opinion" threads: low read counts

"People presenting new/their stuff" threads: higher read count

If we in some way offend you, insult you or your people, screw your mom, beat up your dad, or poop on your porch... we're sorry... we were probably really drunk...
Oh and dont steal our content bitches! Don't give us a reason to pee in your open car window this summer...
