Cooling System Design
I'm new to the water cooling scene, and need some help in designing a water cooling system. How does one go about determining the size/type radiator needed, and size (cfm) fans needed to cool it? Also, what size (flow rate) pump for the system? Same for tubing ID.
I'm building a new system from the ground up, and have already determined what the hardware will be (mobo/processor/video card/etc.). I don't have the case yet. I'd like to run a CPU block, chipset block, GPU block, and possibly a HDD cooler. I'd like to run only one pump if possible. I think I can get 2 small radiators in the case, or one medium/large radiator. I'd like to keep everything inside the case if possible, meaning no external radiator/reservoir/pump. I am open to mounting a fan externally on the back. Rather than being told what stuff to use, I'd rather learn how you figured out what stuff to use. |
