I can't finnish it yet though, need some fittings, and I have ordered a bounch from usplastic.com *hoping to not having to pay the tax etc. :D*
But as you can see, if you look at my old, I've fixed the sharp turn directly after the inlet.

well, now I got some block to test, and I reasently got a rigg to test on, the only limitation is _time_.

I allmost forgot, my new toy:

I like the view through the window...Looks almost the same here...-15 °C now, and it's 11:30 pm... we'll see till morning...

That mill of yours looks just perfect! I really like the idea of that digi caliper on the z axis...GREAT IDEA!

One q though, what's the red box for? Sand blaster, painter?

ChrioN 01-12-2003 04:44 PM

the red box is a microoven.

:D

no its a sandblaster

Puzzdre 01-12-2003 04:55 PM

LOL, sand me some lunch...:D

It looks brand new! How much $$$, or EEE? I suppose it comes without a air compressor...

ChrioN 01-13-2003 07:14 AM

without aircompressor: yes. but i allready had one as you can guess. it costed me 2000SEK..thats about $230 now when the dollar is low, normaly, one dollar is 10SEK, that means $200.
Well. For a place lite Sweden, this is _cheap_!

Puzzdre 01-13-2003 08:26 AM

I just KNEW that Sweden is a great country!;)

LOL, this is the back side of a buissiness card I made for myself several yrs ago...The name is a pun in my language, but I just like the idea of being somewhat connected to Sweden...:D

Igot 2 of those sand blasters at work. In fact after lunch I need to sand etch a granite sign with one of them. Woot time for lunch. :D:D

ChrioN 01-13-2003 02:23 PM

Male: Svensk

Puzzdre 01-13-2003 03:07 PM

Thanx m8! I'll have to change my vattenblock into mk3, and my bussiness card's back into mk2! Soon, I hope so!

Can you pls. put some more pic's of the sandblaster's inside? I'd like to know what it look like on the inside, especially the part where sand is introduced into air stream?

Thx!

Nice toys you got there :D
Realy love that sand blaster, and the way it make the blocks look.
And damn that prices, I always thought Sweden was expensive as hell, but the price you got your mill and this sand blaster is realy cheap compare to some of the prices here even if used. I guess I have to look harder, and may get lucky some day.
Nice work

bobhead 01-13-2003 06:53 PM

looks realy nice, kinda like a maze3 tho, I think I see one in the background:D
I like the DRO, I need some of those, how do you mount your work to the milling table? do you have a vice thats not in that picture?

Nice work

I guess it is good to be in the USA. A similar blaster he has there costs $120.00 US here. Of course you need a good air compressor aswell, but that is still only another $140.00 US fopr one with enough power. :D Prices are out of my brand new 2003 edition Industrial supply catalog.

Nice looking e block by the way.

ChrioN 01-14-2003 03:22 AM

thats really cheap! I like US sometimes...

I got a vise, it was laying on the floor the moment i took the shots.

I will take more shots inside the blasterbox this weekend, nothing fanzy though, a "pistol" what sprays the sand and stuffs...
