Painting a WB

Cant you just spraypaint a waterblock instead of powder coating what not? Will it affect temps?

What surfaces would you be painting? As long as you leave the surfaces that will be contacting your heat source and your coolant alone, you will be fine as far as temps go.

I am sure you could use rustoleum and get good results.

Yeah leave the bottom of the block and the inside and do whatever to the rest. I think you are thinking about anodizing though and not powder coating. Two totally different things. Anodizing you can do to the inside aswell with minimul temp rise, but your better off not. I would still not have it done to the bottom where it contacts the core of the CPU as you would end up lapping it off anyway.

Anyway if that doesn't cover it be a little more spacific what your talking about.
