good heatercore?
i have a heater core form a laser so its number 2-668 on the heatercore4u site (http://www.heatercore4u.com/2-668.htm)
anyways i just want soem info on if this is a good heatercore to use or not i got it for free so i would like ot use it plus i don't plan on mounting it in the case so size doesn't really matter i also plan on using a ys tech 120mm fan on it (rated at 135cfm) wil lthis be adequate? thanks |
135 CFM can“t cool Tjernobyl, but should be enough for a computer.
I guess there are more parameters than just flow to consider, but I leave that for the more expereinced. regards Mikael S. |
Do you have copper in your system? As that appears to be a aluminum rad the battery effect could be a problem. You'll need to use a alum. waterblock to avoid that, and that means lower performance.
That fan will provide plenty of air. |

 still not a clear answer yes will this do or no should i find something else btw i believe it is copper thanks |
Just make a small scratch somewhere it won't show on the tanks and on one of the tubes. That will tell the tale. If it's a all brass/copper rad it will do you a good job.

i checked and it is all brass and copper
