Anybody know where to buy the power supply for the Shuttle cubes separately?
Anybody know where these can be bought? I'm pressed for space in my Chilli Pro case and having a narrower power supply would allow more space for a bigger CPU cooler. Thanks.

Link didn't work.. Newegg has them them though...
Hey Kevin, the link above is the 150 Watter for one of the shuttle cubes. It's at newegg for 32 bucks, not too bad. Not sure how much power you are looking for. One pricewatch I seen a 160 Watt for like 60 bucks ;x eqbyff |
Hmmm... I knew they were low wattage power supplies, but realistically, I probably need at least 250w. I'm on 300 right now and could probably get away with 250... but I'm not sure about less. Darn. So much for that idea...

Try looking for a Sparkle or PC Power and Cooling 300W 1U psus. I believe that is the form factor of the Shuttles at least roughly.

Yeah I looked into the PC Power and Cooling ones a while ago. They are pretty nice... a bit expensive though. I may end up getting one some time. It isn't really an urgent thing as my current heatsink/fan combo is very quiet and keeping my CPU at a nice 10x200, but when I finally feel like pushing it a bit, that's something i'll look into...

Kevin: You could get (2) shuttle PSU; use one to power your MB and mount the other one in a 5.25 bay and use it to power your other components (HDD, CDROM, Fans, etc)
Just an idea. |
