well www.dangerden.com compared 3 different sized pumps and found that the 1250 was the allaround best

No they found out that the 1250 had better flow rate than the 1048. Nobody has done serious experimentation to see how much flow rate affects temperature. However, I'd go w/ the 1250. I have one and it is great. The 1048 is a high quality pump too though.

Another thing to remember is that the 1250 is smaller then the 1060.
That 1060 is BIG... |
yeah none of the ehiems are going to fit very nicely into a res. better off making it inline between the res and the rad for best results.

the 1250 is great.
I have 800mL H20 in the system at all times (+200 more in my temp res) after a 1989 escore heatercore and a maze2 u get this: http://techguy.virtualave.net/project/Dc0106l.JPG as 4 submerging... the 1250 is kinda big. here it is: http://techguy.virtualave.net/project/Dc0048m.JPG u may consider inline with a res/air trap like in the pic. y do u need a res? The pump adds heat to the h20... [ 11-11-2001: Message edited by: Techguy ] |
