3.25" block too wide?
I am planning on making my block 3-1/2" wide. Do you think I will run into trouble w/ mobo components? The reason it will be this big is so I can fit all 3 hose barbs on there; how much space do I need between each barb (1/8").
Also, I was looking at all the MSI Nforce 2 mobos, and from the pictures, THEY DON"T HAVE ANY CPU SOCKET HOLES! What's wrong w/ them? All ASUS boards have 'em correct? Thanks for any and all help. |

The MSI nforce boards don't have the mounting holes. I always loved MSI boards but the missing feature will keep me from buying a nforce board from them again. As for the ASUS boards? I'm not sure. |
Oops in my post it is suppose to be 3-1/4 (like the title). But this only leaves 1/8" between barbs, and 3/8" from the edge of the block to the side barbs (and a 1/8" O-ring will be centered in the 3/8" space). Will this be ok? I might be able to go 3-1/2" (maybe).
Thanks for posting! Bryan |
