case temp, lower than room temp?????
Hi,
I want to know if I lower my case temp by cooling it with an air conditioning sort of device wether or not I will have condensation problems. For example my case temp is about 20 degrees C at the moment, and my CPU is about 32 degrees C. So if I lowered the entire temp of the case to about 17 degrees C would I have condensation problems on the hot components??? Thanks. |
well, that depends on a few things: humidity for one is extremely important. I do not know the formula for finding the dew point (tempareature at which condensation will occur), but if you are in a dry climate 17C should be fine. don;t come try it here in the tropics though!! and the condensation should not occur on your hot components, but the colder ones.
I can tell you from experience that air at 19C from an external air conditioner blowing into the case, in the tropics, did not condense. |
