There are no Americans in Baghdad Edition
 

Well on my last update, the War had just started, and I have to admit it, I have been enthralled with the coverage. I have also been working 12 + hour days quite often at work.

My only comment on the war is this:
This is the funniest damn war ever. ( all respect to all those who have been hurt or killed) but damn... the Iraqi Information Minister is a riot. He makes the US White House press Secretary seem like an amateur. I think in the new regime this dude has a good chance of being the top used car salesman of Baghdad, or make his rounds on the Improv standup scene. Who does he think he is? Obi Wan Kenobi with the Jedi mind tricks? "Those aren’t American tanks and troops in our city..." hell Silent Bob has more Jedi powers than this guy :) (nice mall rats reference eh?)

Overall I hope the US freaking levels all Iraqi resistance and then get the hell out of Iraq after an Iraq chose gov can be put in power. Oh yeh... and France / Germany / Russia... get bent freaking bandwagon jumpers... Put some of your surrender monkey troops in there and maybe you get some of the action.

Ok hehe so that was like 2 comments, but that’s the last I am talking about the war on the front page :D

My favorite line from the Iraqi information ministry, is where they deny that the US took Baghdad airport (formerly known as "Saddam Hussein airport"): what's the matter, you didn't see the giant Hercules C-130 cargo plane land there? LOL!

Yea that guy's got a set for sure. I read this today though from Baghdad Intl Airport:

"A captured Iraqi colonel being held in one of the hangars listened in astonishment as his information minister praised Republican Guard soldiers for recapturing the airport.

He looked at his captors and, as he realised that what he had heard was palpably untrue, his eye filled with tears. Turning to a translator, he asked: "How long have they been lying like this?"

Can't really comment on reliability of that source. But can you imagine how much it must suck to realize the bulk of what you've been told (school, news, everything) is a load of BS? I am pretty cynical about the media as is...

I would call him smart. Since his mission seem to have been to convince the USA that the regim leaders was still around. What he said on TV didn't matter, people put more weight on his speech and laughed as hell while Saddam & Co all disappeard totally leaving a whole army with their pants down without any traces. Not that I support the massmurders or anything, but calling them stupid is abit wrong if you ask me. I really hope he doesn't get away as a certain Bin Laden. Cause I hate when people like Hitler kills himself, if we can't give them lifetime in jail were they can suffer everyday then it isn't fair to all their victims. Ps I read a news article on some dude who have found a list over one of saddams sons video list:
