How much WW should you use?
On dangerden's page it says that 12oz is enaught to 3 gallons
Should I go for this or? Semms to be a bit much Is: 1oz = 0.029liter 1gallon = 3.78liter? I used 2/3 of what dangerden recomanded, should I add the last 1/3? |
I personally think that 2/3 what dangerden said is enough. WW is there to inhibit corrosion. 2/3 will do that job.

4oz to 1 gallon(128oz)
you can do fine with half strength if you want. 1 gallon = 4 quarts = 128 fl oz 1 quart = 2 pints = 32 fl oz 1 pint = 2 cups = 16 fl oz 1 cup = 16 tablespoons = 8 fl oz 1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoons = 1/2 fl oz 1 teaspoon = 1/3 tablespoon = 1/6 fl oz |
I found 10% is very effective for anticorrosive additives. I have no data to back that up, but it works well for me. At the very least I use 5% (in cases where I expect to flush it again soon).
