Getting Water Cooling soon

Any input on the following setup would be great...

Waterblock: Swiftech MCW5000-P
Pump: Via Aqua 1300
Radiator: Black Ice Xtreme
Fan: 120mmAluminum Frame Fan
Reservoir: Danger Den Clear Reservoir with straight fittings
Tubing: 1/2" ID ClearFlex 60
Other: 1/2" OD to 1/2" ID 2 pack
2x Via Aqua 1/2" hose barb
120mm Fan Grill
4 oz Zerex coolant
12x Hose Clamps

Questions:

1. Which radiator will perform better? the above Black Ice Xtreme, or the D-Tek ProCore?

2. I have heard that the Via Aqua generates a lot of heat. Should I not worry about that and run it inline? Or should I build a large reservoir and run it submersible?

I got my stuff from www.d-tekcustoms.com

They have the best rads, if it will fit in your case if thats how your doing it. Also they sell the famous TC-4 block.

I got the ehiem 1048 pump and it is so silent, barely any heat, good pressure. I dont use that grey cover it has and it looks much smaller without it.

I using one L1A fan w/ shroud to pull air. I do have 2 little fans(80mm) in front blowing air in.

Clearflex does not have the bend radius that tygon does. The tygon is very soft and bends well. I myself may take tygon out if I can do without the bends b/c of silly UV die issues.

Just saw D-tek is gonna sell Whitewater block you should get one of those if your Not going to water chilll or Tec cool.

Buy from D-tek

$55 seems like a rip off for a $18 heatercore, but it does save you the trouble of making a shroud.

This will be completely external, the tubing will go out 2 3/4" holes in the back of my case. Tygon is almost twice as expensive as ClearFlex. Due to the placement of components, bend radii are no issue.

The Eheim 1048 is a great pump, but almost three times the cost of the Via Aqua, and i am on a limited budget.

The Panaflo L1A is only rated for 68cfm, while the aluminum frame fan has 79. they are both at 30db. the panaflo also costs more...

Actually, in my experience, it's just as good as the Tygon. Make sure you're comparing tubings with the same wall thicknesses.

This is nice to know. Looks like I'll be paying a fortune for some Tygon. I have serious inflexibility issues with the rigid tubing that came with my Waterchill, and I've got a 180 bend I need to run in about 12".

Could you elaborate on this? To what "silly UV dye issues" do you refer?

TIA,
