radiators
anyone know of a good radiator I can get that can fit about 2 80cm fans? my main concern is size, I want to mount it in the front of my case lian-li pc-60, a decent heater core would also work, the maximum length is about 8" and height 5.2", I'm also hoping to not have to spend more then $45 with shiping, thanks alot

Sysfx.net carrys a single pass rad that sounds like what you want.
3.5" X 7.5" if I recall right, but I think they wanted more like $60.00 for them. |
I'm not sure how much room u have, but Chill-Tek carries some Black Ice micro rads that can hold two fans. Hope this helps...
By the way, its a UK company |
Err why not use a heater core if it will fit? <$20 and very low performance so you might actually get some air through it with a 80mm fan.
I had ok results using 3 80mm fans ducted onto a large heatercore. It was really quiet anyway. |
Check the heatercore database, then pick it up from www.leakycar.com . Great service!

What small HC would anyone suggest then?
I would like too know too ;) -P- |
the BLack ice micro 2 looks really sweet, anyone know if available in the U.S. or the price?
I've looked at some heatercores and the only ones around the right size I can find are like $40, for that I might as well just buy a radiator... if you find anyone knows of any decent priced ones that are fairly small, I'd like to know thanks |
you can find them in the US about anywhere and they cost about $40 to $45.

yea, the micro is there, but on some of the UK sites there is a black ice micro 2, which mounts 2 80cm fans... I was hoping I could find one of those around here...

they have a dual 80mm radiator althought they seem restrictive. |

don't mean to be a pain in the a$$ but everyone is always talking about heater cores aroudn $20, but whenever I look one up they're lik $60, do I need to keep looking or what (p.s. most of the ones I'm checking ar 7.5x5.25 or smaller)
|
Keep looking, yes!
If you've got a good fan, look at heatercores that are at least 2 inch thick. They're usually more expensive though. I just got Fedco# 2-304, 6 by 8 by 1 5/8", and got it for $29.00. If my fan tests well, I might pickup a second one. |
