Replacing speed dial with toggle switch

Is it possible to replace the little screw dial on enermax adjustable fans with a two or three way switch?
What items would i need and what would i need to do...?

Yea should be possible. Just put resistors of different values between the wire from the enermax and the switch. Cut off the current potentiometer and measure the maximum resistance of it and vary the resistors to hit a nice range of speeds. No resistor would be full power in that case.

how could i do it. i know there are two wires leading to the adjuster screw, but what terminals would i connect it to on a SPST switch? in ohter words, what wire goes on what terminal?
