I detest fishing ... IMHO it is quite possibly the most boring hobby in existence, right down there with stamp collecting and knitting.

Out of curiousity, what is a 16yo doing starting a forum about fishing? Is this the beginning of some sort of business venture, or is it just an obsessive hobby and you want more people to chat with? It isn't too common to find people your age putting together forums for anything other than blunts, fo'ties, hos, or pokemon ... I do have to say that the forum is nicely laid out, however. The color scheme in particular belies taste uncommon in your years.

well, airspirit, i understand you but you should give it a go. i havent been fishing in 4yrs, but last year i was on a mountainbike vacation at a camping site near a beautifull lake. a friend of mine took along his fishing rod and at dusk we started fishing some, with crap bait but it had about the same effect as sitting at a campfire, 4 ppl chatting an trying to see the line, very cozy with a bottle of wine, ofcourse we didn't catch anything. but fishing all day ... admitted, not my style
