I was refering to the Maze 4 GPU - not the CPU block

yuanlong 06-23-2003 01:40 AM

Maze 4 is just for the cpu only...

Just got the new Maze 4 - GPU block.

My fault. A bit dyslectic.
Nope, haven“t seen any reviews so far. Might be a bit early.

I'm disappointed to see the annodized aluminum top.

I would rather see a copper or lucite top on that block.

tok3n 06-23-2003 05:59 AM

I agree. Just hope the anodizing is good enough to prevent corrosion of the dissimilar metals.

winewood 06-23-2003 07:10 AM

alot of that corrosion stuff is a myth. Ask #rotor

I didn't belive it before I read his site. I forget his link.. anyone have it?

Not a Myth, just grossly exaggerated, to an end I can not comprehend...

Copper is good, Aluminum is good, they can both be used simultaneously in the same rig, with awesome success, if a couple of small little things are kept in check, That is all I say and have proven, beyond a doubt, with what I've been able to do so far.
