The only good cooling system you can use for laptops is a way to disapate the heat if someone had put it on a bed for example.

Laptops are only used for a mobile workstation not for "power housing" nice idea.. but I don;t think it'll be much good... liquid cooling is to move the heat fom one part of the system to a cooler part with a large surface area. A laptop pretty much heats up evenly... and a "compact water cooling system" doesn't have the right ring to it.
Liquid cooling is one of the only things where the bigger the better.
