My Ruling on this BS Banter.
 

Due to a number of threads of immature posts and BS that has really shown the immaturity of some ProCooling users I have posted a reminder of the forum rules.

I have also perm banned a couple users who's sole intent was to start shit in the forums. I also banned Jaydee for 5 days for his instigation in most of the arguments. ( in a very immature way also).

The fact that Jaydee is banned should stand as a warning, that new geeks, or long time ProCooling geeks are all subject to the same rules. This forum has only existed because of the different kind of atmosphere offered vs. other more kid/hype sites out there. In an effort to keep conversations relevant, informational, and credible, I am taking these steps to stop further BS.

Not play nice, just dont be a dumb shit and instigate arguments for no real purpose or point.

But, but, but ... oh, that makes sense.

I figure that if we didn't kill each other over the mess of political and religious posts a month ago that we could live through anything ....

One thing I have observed is that we HAVE been getting a bunch of new people in the forums, some of which seem to occupy themselves solely by trying to pick fights with the senior members (Jaydee made himself an easy target due to his temper ... though I know he isn't the only one to have lost it a bit, myself included). This kind of reminder might not be a bad thing to have around to remind some of the newer members that they maywant to think before extolling the virtues of putting goldfish in their res and other inanity ... or at least ask for clarification if they don't understand what they are reading before telling an experienced member (such as Jaydee) that they are full of crap.

I agree: this is probably one of the best technical forums on the web, and perhaps the most civil (outside of private forums). I would hate for this to turn into the queerball mess that others such as the [H] have.
