HELp!
not sure which fourm to post this topic in.
My monitor NEC MultiSYnc FE2111SB has black dots. HOw do i fix them? the black dots aren't artifacts because when i turn the monitor off i am still able to see them. It is like its between the class screen. |
Clean your glasses :p
That's an unusual problem. If you purchased it recently, you might consider taking it back. |
I'm assuming it is a LCD? If so, then be aware that pixels can burn. If it is a flat screen CRT, a similar thing can happen if the grill (?) gets buggered inside. It is odd that you can see it if it is off, though. Maybe you need to crack it open and clean it (NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!!).

Yeah its a CRT, it is it like between the class. just a little black dot

Does your monitor have an anti Glare coating?
Mine does and I have a couple of similar "dots" on mine from where something has scratched the caoting and apparently smugded it somewhat. |
Yeah my monitor has an anti glare coating. I would understand if it was outside, but its right in the middle of the glass.
