WTB: MountainMods U2-UFO Case in Canada
I'm having a very hard time trying to locate that case, or a vendor that ships to Canada. Or is it still too soon to get it up here? My mid-tower case is too crouded to have my watercooling setup inside the case. Does anyone know where I can find it?
Also FS/FT MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR Mobo. Want to trade for Abit NF7-S. Price negotiable if someone wants to buy. |
See if they'll ship you one without riveting it together. Should save on shipping then :)

Unfortunately I can't order directly from them (MountainMods). "Currently all transactions must go through Paypal." That was taken directly from their website. I don't have Paypal, and I don't have a credit card so I'm out of luck with that option. I doubt they even ship to Canada, since they only mention that they ship via ground shipping and the only way to get here is either fly or ship. There are no roads out of the community, only trails that an ATV will have trouble with (even get stuck which I've done a few times). So I'm looking for Canadian vendors with it or someone that can mail me that case.

You do need a credit card for paypal. You can use your checking account. At least you could when I set it up. Just email Ben Rising, he will reply rapidly, and am sure he can work something out with you.

Using a chequing account will work if I had an account at an American bank, but my chequing account is with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC). So I'm out of luck with that option again. :( Ben Rising, is that someone who works for MountainMods? Will he still be able to help me if I don't have a paypal account?

I dont see why he'd refuse a money order. That avoids the 3.5% charge paypal's putting on his transactions. I would e-mail.

I sent an e-mail and :D :D :D !!!! LOL

excellent! Prepare to get anally compromised by Canadian customs when bringing it into the country though.
|
compromised in what way? other than tarriffs or dutys?
|
well there's that too :)
I guess they just collect GST up front and then you are expected to pay PST on your own right? All I know is they knock on door asking for money periodically. Pisses me off that there is a $5 fee for collecting the duty. Isn't that their job in the first place? |
Luckily I don't pay PST here in Nunavut. And somehow I'll doubt they'll be coming to my door. Probably just send me a bill in the mail if they do.
