Antone here have a Chieftech DX-01BD/Antec 1040B case?
Antone here have a Chieftech DX-01BD/Antec 1040B case? I ask as I've been told the Best Radiator to do overclocking an Athlon XP Tbred A cpu (1800+, Currently running as a 2200+ cpu) with is a BIXII Dual 120mm Radiator, But to use one of those 9.5"x5" Radiators I would have to mount It outside My case, Has Anyone done this? I really don't want to Mod the case just to mount It, Internally I have only 8.25"x5.5" and I am either going to get the BIX Single 120mm fan Radiator or the Dual which can't go internally without some sort of Modified 120mm Fan Shroud or Adapter being made, Wood Maybe? As 1.25" worth of Card slots is in the way beneath the 8.25"(H)x5.5"(W) space.

Forget about the BIXII, its more expensive than a heatercore and will have inferior performance. You should be able to find a heatercore that will fit in airspirit's database.

This thread has inspired me greatly, and, yes, I have a Chieftec Dragon (don´t remember if it´s a AX or a DX, but it´s the middle tower). Heater core seems to rule.

I'm going towards a Heatercore, most have It in the front, Me I would rather put It in the Rear, Where the fans are. So It's a Heatercore (8"x5"x2" or smaller), 2-fan shrouds and a 120x120x25mm YS-Tech fan (105cfm), But then I already have a Sunon of the same size and It only outputs 108cfm, that and some grills and both of the fans are close in output.:D And Yeah that means one of the Support bars will have to come out, But that's ok with ME.;)
