Suggestions on This Setup

Hey,
I was planning on buying this stuff soon. I haven't bought any of it yet but let me know what you think about it. I plan on cooling a dual AMD 2100+ along with a GeForce4. Also, if you have any suggestions on a Heater Core from any specific car that you think I should get, let me know. That is the only piece that I haven't found yet.

Thanks!

Go for maze 3.
It is better that maze 4.

If you can spend somewhat more, go for some swiftech mcw5002 block.

Why do you say the Maze3? I have looked an this site and other sites that say they are pretty equal or the Maze4 is better.

Swifty MCW5002 or Slit Edge blocks will both beat the Maze 4, and they are both pretty reasonable even if they are a bit more $. They are worth it, and worth doing. The White Water and Cascade are even better than the Swifty's or Slit Edge, but even more expensive. Up to u if they are worth going for, but there are none better.

Swifty MCW50 GPU block, it's about the best there is on the market at this time. And it's a low resistence block to help keep your systems flow rate high. Cathar is working on a Cascade GPU design, but I don't think it's ready just yet.

Swifty 600 series pump, will out perform the L30 or Ehiem 1250, again at reasonable costs.

For a rad there is a large single pass core you can get that is from a 69-72 chevy pick up with air. VEry good if you have the room for it. You can find it here; www.leakycar.com it's rad #2-342. Will take dual 120mm fans side by side. If space is a problem then I'd say get the Pro-core from D-tech customs and the shroud(s) they offer.

Which model of Panaflo fans? High output ones would be best, on a reobus for noise considerations.

I agree with changing the maze 4 with some other block, from what i have been reading about it, I am not one of the guru's of water cooling, but it has a poly top, they tned to crack, FYI

and for the GPU you should go for a swiftech MCW50, and appearantly that isn't on directron anymore....

So, I am still wondering what people think. I have gone through and changed a couple things. I think I am going to get the Maze3 with a copper top and some anti-freeze instead of Water Wetter. I was also able to find a similar style case for a little cheaper, so I think that I am going to get that. Let me know if you think i should switch anything, and if you do think that I should switch anything, please show me what you think i should switch it to.

Also, do you think that I should get some sort of Fan control thing?

Thank you very much.

don't condemn the maze4 just yet. it is disputable if the maze 4 can beat the maze3, google out some solid evidence on the maze4 and make your own conclusion.

You can get cheaper clearFLEX60 at McMasterCarr 6.50$ for 10ft
It is called Chemical Grade PVC tubing

The main reason that I switched to the Maze3 is that I am able to get it with a Copper top. I don't really want to have to worry about a Lucite top cracking.
