Anyone have experience submerging the via aqua 1300 in a reservoir? I am trying to find the correct fittings, but I'm not sure of the thread size of the pump's connection. I'm thinking of something like a bulkhead fitting, going from a mpt on the inside (attached to the pump) to a tube fitting to attach to a 1/2 ID tube. I'm not sure on the thread though, and I don't have calipers. I did find this

I have a ViaAqua and I used 1/2 to 1/2 MIP adapter. I have a pic but I just walked in to lowes with the Via and tried fittings until they fitted. Hope this helps.

Is MIP equivalent to male NPT?
