RTV Sealant Question
I have heard that CRC RTV Sealant isn't good to use on the motherboard. Is there any reason why?

Yeh it used Acetic Acid in its cure'n process, it will eat the SMT components on the board. also its permiable to water vapor.

Can I use it to seal the area between my waterblock|peltier|coldplate?
