I need help with this idea

Ok Im going to try and make this simple for me so all I really have to do is cut my lenght and width and do some soldering. Do you guys think this idea will work http://www.freewebs.com/kriscos/cpu%20picture.JPG

Wait here is even a better idea all I have to do is get a chuck of copper cut it down to size and drill 3 holes in it. I just make the holes the size of the tubing put the tubing but first lube it up with arctic silver 3 so the tubing has a good connection with the chuck of copper. This is probley the easyest way to do it and theres no solding or ever little needed at all. So do you guys this this will work. Here is a picture.http://www.freewebs.com/kriscos/cpu%20pictures%202.JPG

Hi krisco, and welcome to the forums!

Here's the pic of the block very similar to the one you want to make, I used it on my 1.8 palomino, and it worked well, although I didn't oc in those days...:D

It's simpler to drill all of the channels in the block, and then just epoxy/solder the plugs in gray sections of the pic.

If you already have the drill press, do a search on #Rotor's blocks here, much more simpler to make, and much more effective...

G'luck!

Puzzdre,

That looks VERY close to my first block design... It was originally developed for the Pentium 2 Celeron Slot A processors and has evolved to P3 socket 370 and P4 CPUs.
