What is it? A tap for making 1/2" barb threads? If so good buy!!

bigben2k 10-19-2003 10:12 PM

Wow, not bad! The TIN coating is ~half that amount!

What size is it?

nOv1c3 10-19-2003 11:18 PM

Cant read the size poor eyes geting old hehe

But depending on the size .....Thats not a bad price for a blind tap

Puzzdre 10-20-2003 02:11 AM

Yup, it's a tap for the barbs I use, 16x1.5, it's Fette PM edition ISO 2, 6H, I don't claim that I know what all that mean. I found it on their site under product no 1394474, but cannot get the price for the new one, I don't wanna register just for that.

All I know is that in shops here, ordinary one, without the TIN coating, 16x1.5 tap is priced around 40$...

Sry guys, I just had to post it :p

Cheers!

Congrats Puzzdre!

Glad to see a good block maker pick up something nice at a low price.

Look forward to seeing what you'll use it on! (You know you want to play with the new tooling);)
