De ionised water

De ionised water doesn't conduct so could i use it in my water cooling system and do you think it would be a good idea?

Nope, Initally it doesnt conduct, but it will pick up contaminated and before long be the same as Tap water. its expensive to get, and not worth it. just used distilled water and you will be all good.

hehehe, I use tap water.. :) Suppose you wouldn't be able to if you have hard water or something else that could cause problems, but I have decent water out of the tap here.. :)

De-ionized water is the same water that shorted out my duron and GF2 MX...

it all becomes tap water after it touches anything that isnt absolutely clean anyway. You need to use water wetter or some kinda corrosion inhibitor to be safe.

Where you score the stuff?! "UltraPure" water is fairly hard to get, and not very cheap.
