What to get for 1/2?

I want to go watercooling but I dont know what to get for 1/2 tubing straight out of the box
I will buy the maze2 modded to 1/2, but I dont know which radiator and pump
I heard that some the eheims have different size in input and output
Can you guys recommend me what should I get?

The Eheim 1048 has 1/2" input and output, the other models have different input and outputs. As for other pumps - shop around, check their specs, you should be able to find one.

Eheim 1250 and Hydor Seltz L30II both have 1/2" fittings too.

I thought the inlet on the 1250 was larger than that. I suppose you could fit a new fitting though

The eheim 1048 seems weak for me
And the 1250 and 1060 have the inlet or output (I dunno which) different
Would I have to mod it if I wanted 1/2?
I really would like the eheim, but not the 1048

and how about a good radiator? with 1/2 fitting
Copper preferably so it wont be fux0red with normal water

At my local aquarium shop they showed me the Eheim 1250 with inlet adaptors so you can fit either 1/2 or 3/8 with no problem.
Personally i got a Hydor Seltz L30II which has both 1/2" connectors and is similar to Eheims, 1200lph.

the only radiator that I know of that has 1/2" inlet/outlet is this one: http://becooling.safeshopper.com/13/57.htm?588

Ultrakiller 06-11-2001 12:36 AM

it says its 3/8 :\

Playful_Wolfpup 06-11-2001 01:15 AM

I dunno... I read somwhere it fits 1/2" tubing.

It says 7/16" OD, which is right between 1/2 and 3/8.. I don't think it'd be that terrible to use 1/2 tubing on it, although you'll probably need something to seal it up?
