replacing the barbs hydor L30 pump, impact on performance?

I replaced the original in- and outlet barbs(1/2" OD) from my hydor L30 with 2 brass barbs(3/4" OD).Could this have a negative inpact on performance?I use a cascade and 1/2"ID Tygon with a dtek procombo.

Changing the inlet to a bigger one, will "always" give extra performance.
It's like having the pump submerged.

A bigger outlet won't do much good, but it won't hurt either.
