my final choice

ok, today i ordered

BeCooling jagged edge waterblock
socket cpu clip
12 x 5 radiator
purper ice radiator coolant

all this is from http://becooling.safeshopper.com

what do u guys think? i would have gone with dangerden but then their store changed, as in the ordering part where the address goes in, and i don't wanna take any chances cos i live in hong kong.

hmm... maybe you should have went with a lexan clamp, I hear socket clips aren't that reliable.

I bought a becooling, aka aquastealth, water block and was disappointed. The block wasn't properly sealed and after about 3 weeks, started to leak. Their cpu clip is a pain to use - the screws, hooks and bar are all independent of each other which makes getting everything in the right place somewhat tricky.

Danger Den allegedly pressure tests his blocks but I'm not too sure that solder sealing a water block is reliable. I know for sure it isn't reliable if it isn't tested but even then, you're never sure how the solder will handle the stress induced by hundreds of heating/cooling cycles. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

Do not use the stock clamps!! The bottom lip on my socket broke and killed my best friend! AXIA Y 1.33 @ 1591 (replaced by a AYHJA 1.33- haven't tested yet, waiting on new clip). Pay the extra $10 and get the upgrade to the Lexan clamps. You'll be sorry if you don't.

Ever consider a Maze2? They clip onto the motherboard itself and are about as powerful as you can get.

i was going to order a danger den maze 2 along with their copper radiator, but then they changed their ordering form... and i don't wanna take any chances, cos i live in hong kong and if anything goes wrong, its really gonna suck.

I got a jagged edge too. But I got it because I am considdering moving to p4 or dual p3's and I didn't want to have to replace everything.

what do u think of it matt?

I am very happy with it's performance. The manufacturing of it is top notch. it's a great product. The 120mm radiator is not big enough for me tho.
