NB Block Problem

1 Attachment(s)
After some months of waiting I got my blocks today. When I looked at the northbridge block, I saw that the gys who milled it had done something wrong.

The Inlets should have been where I drew them on the pic.

My question now is, will this bock work (good enough) if I sealed the canal where i drew it in the left side of the pic?

did they do the job as a favor?

if they charged you for the job, you should ask them to do it again correctly without a charge.

anyway, if you do what you drawed, i believe that most of the water would flow through the outer channel, leaving the center area almost with no flow.

i cant really imagine any way you could fix that block. although its only a NB block, even without working correctly should be enough.

let them make another hole, and fill up the faulty hole.

that's the only way you might save the block

Well. They did it as a favor. Fortunately the're going to rebuild it.

thanks anyway.
